"I don’t know what the negative reviews are all about but to each their own and not every review is an honest review, I always say get the card experience it for yourself if you do not like the card, stopped charging, stop using it eventually they’ll close it out. It’s better for them to close out the card with a zero balance than it would be for you to cancel the card as it will hinder your credit, good luck everyone."

"line of credit, I’ve had the card for a year now it is 2023 and my credit limit is now 400. \nAfter having this card for about a year, paying the bill faithfully by the due date in full, they invited me to apply for the visa total visa select card. Which I’ve had for a little over six months now, and I continue to pay the card as promised just like the original Total Card. My credit score went from a 582 a healthy 670 in TransUnion 675 Experian and 700 Equifax this card got me there."

"Let’s Begin back in 2015 I apply for this credit card within a year. I screwed up and I ended up overcharging the card, hurting my credit, and the end result was them closing my account and sending it over to collections. Unfortunately because of the circumstances, I was not able to pay and get it off of my collections however, I reapplied for the card four years later, and I was approved. most credit card have a second chance policy , which is why I was approved for 300"

Small limit increase

I knew when I got this card not to expect much, my credit wasn’t great. They approved me for $300. Annual fee I was ok with, even paying the monthly fee was ok. Now my score has gone up 150 points (for many reasons), and I've had the card over 3 years. In that time, I've never missed or had any late payments on anything. They've granted 2 credit limit increases. Each one was only $50. That's the real issue for me. Works well enough to start, but when you're able, get a higher limit elsewhere.

Not a bad card

Seems people are mad cause of that fee they ask for before they send the card out. Well that's what happens when your credit sucks. I like this card, yeah there are fees but that's what happens when trying to build credit. It has helped my score go up by 200 points so far. I was at 400 today I am at 590. I have never had a score that high, I messed it up in high school. Totally worth the fees.

Too many fees

"Had this cards not even a year , not worth it. Annual fees not a problem. But then they charge you in top of that 6.25 a month even if your balance is zero . I used this card to build but ended up closing it, which sucks because it hurt my credit score . Because it was a 300 limit and would charge like $50 then pay it off . But I’d rather close it then paying all those extra fees . STAY AWAY lol seriously "

It's an Expensive Card to Have!

It's an Expensive Card to Have, but it works well & reports every month to the credit bureaus. I am going to be closing it soon, as I don't need it any more. I'll just have to go ahead & take the credit hit to do so, before the annual fee comes up.

"I’ve had my card for 4 months now and haven’t had any issues and my credit score has went up a bit already so I have nothing bad to say"

Unreal

Some of you say your score is 400 & 500, do you think you will get a 0% card? If you really want to build or rebuild you start somewhere first

There are better options

I got when I started trying to rebuild my credit. Problems from the start, the card wouldn't work, then I was charged for an authorized user card that I never got. Then, when that authorized user card did arrive after my original card expired, it was in the wrong name! I now have cards with better terms and higher limits, but very little of that had to do with this card. Customer service is terrible.
