Credit Sesame Names Chief Operating Officer
Anton Commissaris, a founding executive of Mint.com, joins Credit Sesame’s leadership team to grow revenue
Mountain View, CA (November 27, 2012)— Credit Sesame, the consumer’s credit and loan expert, announced the appointment of Anton Commissaris to its executive team as Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing the product and marketing teams.
Commissaris bring more than 18 years of experience in the software, Internet and mobile sectors spanning leadership roles in product management, sales, business development, marketing and operations.
Commissaris joins Credit Sesame at a time of rapid growth. The company recently won “Best-in-Show” honors at FinovateFall 2012 and announced that it had passed the 1 million member mark. It currently has more than $41 billion in debt under management and has been quickly adding more members. The growth has also taken Credit Sesame out of a start-up incubator space into its own headquarters in downtown Mountain View, CA.

Prior to Credit Sesame, Commissaris was a founding member of the Mint.com executive team, where he helped the company become a leading personal finance management destination. Under his guidance, Mint was acquired by Intuit for $170 million in 2009, two years after launch. At Intuit, Commissaris helped integrate Mint.com and lay the foundation for the service to grow to more than 10 million users.

Most recently, Commissaris was the chief revenue officer for Apsalar, a mobile engagement management provider in San Francisco. He holds law degrees from the University of Auckland, and the University of Montpellier, France.
