Not too long ago, earning a title millionaire was an incredible feat, but today there are an estimated 8.4 million Americans alone who have investible assets worth at least $1 million. But achieving billionaire status is seldom accomplished today – only 413 Americans can currently claim the title. Of course, inflation is certainly a culprit in the rise of the number of millionaires and billionaires alike; but the facts are plain – billionaire is the new millionaire!
