With all of the credit card offers available today, it can seem like a difficult task to find a match for your needs. If the absence of a pesky annual fee matters to you, these are cards we think deserve your review.

Best for Cash Rewards: Chase Freedom®

The Chase Freedom® card offers cash back on each purchase made with the card. Certain bonus categories of purchases earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases each calendar quarter you activate. Enjoy new 5% categories each quarter, however, you must activate them each quarter to earn the 5% cash back rate. Once you hit the quarterly limit in those categories, and for all other purchases, you earn an unlimited 1% cash back. Chase makes it easy to keep track of the bonus categories with optional text and email reminders.

Redemptions are easy and flexible. You can redeem rewards for cash back in the form of a statement credit or direct deposit into an eligible U.S. checking or savings accounts. You can redeem your points for gift cards and certificates for shopping, dining and entertainment and more. The options are varied.

The Discover it® card comes in several versions, and none of them has an annual fee, so we ended up including some details on a couple of the other Discover cards as well just in case your tastes and needs fall more in line with one of the other Discover credit card offers. Not interested in changing bonus categories? Perhaps one of the other Discover it® cards may interest you. With the Discover it® chrome card earn 2% cash back at gas stations and restaurants on up to $1,000 in combined purchases each quarter. If travel rewards are what you’re after, consider the Discover it® Miles card. Earn unlimited 1.5x Miles for every dollar spent on all purchases – with no annual fee. Miles Pay You Back. Easily redeem Miles as a statement credit for travel purchases. Or get cash. For new cardmembers only Discover offers an  – Unlimited Bonus: Discover will match ALL the Miles you’ve earned at the end of your first year, automatically. For example, if you earn 35,000 Miles, you get 70,000 Miles. That’s $700 towards travel! So, how it works – the more you earn, the more you get.
