The Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express is not a charge card, it’s a credit card. Card Members do have the option to carry a balance from month to month. That does mean, however, outside of any introductory APR offer on purchases, that you’ll pay interest on the things you buy if you don’t pay the balance in full when due each month.
Quick Tip: For the application process your credit score and other factors are considered. See your free credit score on Credit Sesame. As a reminder having a credit score in a certain range does not guarantee approval for a credit card.

Blue Cash Everyday® Card from America Express review – is it a choice for you?
The Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express may be a fit for anyone who wants to earn cash back on everyday spending without having to pay an annual fee.
For eligible new Card Members, earn a $150 statement credit after you spend $1,000 in purchases on your new Card within the first 3 months is a nice incentive with a reachable spending threshold.
The fact that your cash back is received in the form of Rewards Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit takes the hassle out of how to use the rewards you earn. For example, you don’t have to try and work around blackout dates or other exclusions if you want to use your rewards for travel.
American Express doesn’t specify a credit score range that’s needed to get considered for approval but as a general rule, the more generous a card’s rewards structure, the higher your score needs to be to qualify. If you’re not sure where your score falls or what’s showing up on your credit report, signing up for Credit Sesame’s free credit monitoring service can clue you in as to where you stand before you apply. If you’re considering applying for a credit card keep in mind that credit card issuers consider your credit score, as well as other factors, when making a decision if you will be approved for one of their cards. In addition credit card issuers use a variety of different types of credit scores and the credit scoring model can vary depending on the credit card issuer. So, take your time choosing a credit card, compare offers and read the fine print.
